SWAN 120 LE – Redefining Freedom in Flight

SWAN 120 LE was officially launched of at AERO Friedrichshafen Expo in Germany in April 2023, at one of the most prestigious aviation exhibitions in Europe.

Since 2015, AVI Aircraft has been a consistent presence at this event, showcasing our commitment to innovation and excellence in the field of ultra-light aviation.

Launching the SWAN 120 LE into production marks a significant milestone in our journey. This model not only enhances our existing product line but also reflects our commitment to diversifying the range of aircraft we offer.

The introduction of this innovative ultra-light aircraft is set to expand our market reach, targeting aviation enthusiasts, professionals, and training institutions seeking robust technology combined with unparalleled flight experience.

In 2025, we took a bold step forward by opening a new production facility. This larger manufacturing hall near Bucharest is equipped with advanced technology, allowing us to scale production efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision. This expansion is key to meeting the growing demand for our aircraft and achieving our ambitious sales targets for the SWAN 120 LE.

SWAN 120 LE Standard Version Features:

Airframe manufactured using vacuum formed and thermally treated parts from carbon fiber /glass fiber with epoxy resin.
Aviation raw materials provided by German suppliers.
Elevons (flaperons) all over the wingspan, without flap movement (Vs0 = 65 km/h).
Adjustable rudder pedals, for pilots between 1.50 m and 2.0 m tall. Pilot and luggage maximum weight = 116 kg.
Fixed Kevlar ergonomic pilot seat, positioned under the aircraft center of gravity (aircraft balance doesn't change no matter the weight of the pilot). Pitch trim is not needed.

Main landing gear manufactured from glass fiber/epoxy resin with 4.00 - 4" plastic wheels and Veloce tires, no braking system.

Large, entirely closed, ventilated, waterproof cabin. One door, left side.
Carbon dashboard equipped with: speedometer, altimeter, compass and slip ball.

Foldability features:

- each wing can be folded by removing 1 screw;

- horizontal and vertical stabilizers can be folded by removing 2 screws each;

- back part of the fuselage can be folded by removing 2 screws;

- full disassembly of the aircraft can be done in less than 10 minutes by 1-2 persons.
